owned and managed by David & Pat Stephen, along with a fantastic team who's goal is to ensure that each customer leaves the store with EXACTLY what they were looking for.
We are dedicated to providing traditional highland dress, specialising in formal evening wear and day wear. We offer a choice of jackets including the Prince Charlie, Argyll and Crail. For Evening or Formal Wear for all occasions, we offer traditional groom and attendant attire and ballroom dress.
Tailored for you
At Georgian Dress Hire, we pride ourselves on offering a full hand-made tailoring service. Our kilt makers can design and make a hand-made kilt of the highest quality in the tartan of your choice. If ordering a tartan, we will ask you to call and check it is the correct one before we make your kilt. We can also incorporate or use materials that you already possess. The Traditional Kilt is made from top quality pure wool traditional heavyweight kilt fabric. It is made using 8 yards of fabric and a 16oz fabric.
We take your Waist, Seat and Length Measurement. The length measurement should include the waistband and your kilt should skim the floor when kneeling erect.
The Traditional Kilt to bye is available in over 400 Tartans We also have light cloth accessories including blouses, shirts, ties and waistcoats.
