John Kanzius discovered that his radio frequency generator could release the oxygen and hydrogen from saltwater and create an incredibly intense flame. He placed a test tube filled with ordinary salt water into a radio-wave generator, blasting the salt water with 200 watts' worth of directed radio waves. Within seconds, a blue flame erupted from the top of the test tube. It then turned bright white like a blowtorch's flame and burned for several minutes at about 3,000 degrees Fahrenheit (1,600 Degrees Celsius)- the melting point of Titanium.
If this invention works out, the ramifications could be enormous. Cars could run on engines powered by salt water instead of gasoline. Hydroelectric plants could be built along almost any shoreline.

Google Earth Flight Simulator Google’s new release of Google Earth, its popular free mapping software, stunned the world with its addition of mapping the universe. It has also secretly included a flight simulator! Here is a short tutorial of flying with the new Google Earth 4.2 Flight Simulator: Download the most recent version of Google Earth, start it up and press CTRL+ALT+A (Mac: Command+Option+A). The flight simulator should load right away with an option dialog for plane and airport. You can pilot two airplanes: the F16 or the SR22. Familiarize yourself with the flight controls. Instead of using the arrow keys, you may prefer to steer the aircraft with the mouse (click the screen with your mouse to activate). UPDATE: If CTRL+ALT+A does not open flight simulator mode, download FlightSim.reg, double click it and restart Google Earth. Then go Tools -> Enter Flight Simulator.

Trillian An excellent free instant messaging service. Allows you to connect to and use all the main instant messaging services at once - ICQ, MSN messenger, Yahoo messenger, IRC and AOL. Can register easily for these services from the Trillian panel without having to download their programme. The other great advantage of this free service is that it doesn't come bundled with spyware / adware which can slow down your system and invade your online privacy (e.g. ICQ is a 13.5MB programme full of adware, whereas Trillian is a 2MB programme that allows you to use ICQ - and other services with no adware).

Nick Pope Secret History SECRET HISTORY OF THE UNITED KINGDOM’S UFO PROJECT, with Nick Pope. In 1950 the United Kingdom's Ministry of Defence commissioned an official study into the UFO phenomenon.
