ClickNow Support Brain Help in Brain Injury Awareness Week

Aberdeen based charity, Brain Help is using Brain Injury Awareness Week (12th-18th March) to encourage local people to support them by getting online, and signing up to ClickNow, an innovative search engine which allows supporters to donate money to their favourite charity with just the click of a mouse.

As Walter Baxter, Director of Brain Help explains, the charity is dependent on the generosity of the general public.

‘As with all charities, the work we do is funded by donations from our supporters, for which we are very grateful, however, we are aware that people have other demands on their time and money. ClickNow offers the perfect solution. Supporters simply go to the ClickNow homepage, choose the charity they’d like to support and make it their default home page. Every time they run an internet search, Brain Help or their chosen charity receives a donation. It’s so easy to do and doesn’t cost us, or our supporters a penny.’

Brain Help was established for the specific purpose of funding the establishment of drop in neurocare centres throughout the UK and it helps address the challenges faced as a result of brain haemorrhage or brain injury for sufferers, families and carers. It also provides an important support network for people dealing with the effects of brain injury.

Charles Lovibond, CEO of ClickNow is delighted that Brain Help has signed up with the ClickNow search engine and hopes that Brain Injury Awareness Week helps people realise how they can help raise money for the local charity.

‘Brain Help is a fantastic charity and the work they do is invaluable.  and it’s great that ClickNow is in a position to help them raise money. Every penny counts and if everyone in Aberdeen used ClickNow as their search engine during this Brain Injury Awareness Week, the amount of money raised for Brain Help would be phenomenal.’

To help raise money for Brain Help, simply go to www.clicknow.org.uk, find the Brain Help logo and make it your homepage. It’s as simple as that!
